Well this has been a shit 2 weeks since I last posted. On top of the obvious shit news, my uncle (Kevin’s dad), passed away Thursday after a short stint in the hospital. I still have not wrapped my head around the new reality of Daddy Bob being gone, much less this. It’s a lot.
I got a new friend. Luna is not impressed.
Chase discovered a Chip and Dale tree topper and had to have it. We had enough Disney reward points for it, plus I also got the newer Scarlet Witch ears that DON’T have the pointy things jabbing you in the head LOL. At that point we were only $10 away from free shipping AND a free gift, and shipping was $10, so I was like might as well use that $10 to get something instead of on shipping, so I got Kevin a hat for the Disney trip. And the free gift I got was a little Star Wars backpack that’ll be a great size for a park bag.
Better look at the tree topper. It lights up.
Saturday before last I drug out all of the Christmas stuff. Chase had inventory so I was home alone. Put on spotify and started decorating, which also includes cleaning, so it took all day.
I meant to take more pics throughout the day but didn’t. Here’s Luna taste-testing a branch.
It took from like 9am to 6pm to get everything up in between all the cleaning I did. And at the end I kinda gave up and didn’t put up some of the stuff, like I did set up the second monorail in the dining room. I was too tired by then. I’ll take some pics of it all for the next post.

This past weekend we drove to Nashville for a day with my parents.
The moon was cool on the drive up.
Our hotel was neat, it was an old Packard dealership.
We had these amazing tapas for dinner.
Saturday dad and Chase went guitar shopping. They dropped me and mom off in the Gulch area to walk around and shop. Mom bought a sweater and we got donuts and coffee. Then we met back up for lunch at Ted’s Montana Grill which was fine but after the tapas the night before… lol
Found the Taylor Swift bench in Centennial Park.
Then we went to Green Hills mall for a bit before heading home.

Chase surprised me with it! I showed it to him during the Taylor holiday merch drop and then he was like, “check your email” and he’d gotten it for me LOL I think this will stay out year round. Also I think I kinda need to get my nice China out and actually set the table to really show this off LOL
Also I’m on bluesky now (you can find the link on my sidebar social menu or just look for kelldar). I finally deleted my old twitter. Hadn’t used it in years anyway. But bluesky feels so much more like twitter of old so far, I’m finding it very enjoyable and a positive place to be. Lots of art! And cats! I like it way more than threads – threads algorithm just really seems to push negativity. Any post you click on, the top replies are always antagonistic. Ew. I’ve tried deleting it several times but inevitably instagram shows me some snippet of a post from a friend that I want to read the rest of so I ended up over there again, but I think maybe now that bluesky seems to be taking off, maybe I can cut the cord on threads permanently too.
Also it’s just nice to have a social media platform that’s not run by meta.
In other news, I did get the new Honeymoon Leia set uploaded and the portfolio page is updated.
Hoping to shoot T’Lyn and Padme this weekend.
Anyway. I’m sad. And tired.
